Eva + Matt: Quality Inn Ballroom | Madison Wedding Photographer

When I got Matt's phone call, I was asleep and on vacation in California, but I took the call anyways - and I'm so glad I did! Matt and Eva were in need of a wedding photographer in just a few weeks, and luckily I was available to capture their big day. Their ceremony was held at Lake Edge United Church of Christ in Madison, Wisconsin. Shortly after the ceremony, we headed over to the Monona Terrace to do some bridal party shots! Right before that Eva, Matt, and I stopped at a little park near the church to do a few extra photos before meeting up with everyone at the Terrace. Their reception was held at the Quality Inn Ballroom in Madison. The whole night was filled with love, laughter, and good conversation with old friends.

I am so happy to show off this sneak peek of my very first Madison wedding! I had a blast, and was so honored to capture Eva and Matt's beautiful day. Wishing you guys the very very best!

Emerson's California Senior Portrait Session

Everyone meet my little brother, Emerson! I can't believe he's going to be a senior in the fall. I'm getting old. I was in San Luis Obispo/Los Osos all last week hanging out with my family and wishing I lived in California. While I was there, I took an afternoon to go around town with Emerson to a few of his favorite spots to take his senior photos. We started out in Los Osos on this super cool trail with these great trees, then we headed to downtown SLO for some more urban feeling shots. The next evening we wanted to try and get the sunset at the beach at Montana de Oro, but unfortunately it was foggy both evenings we tried. So we just worked with it and ended up with a few great shots!

So anyways, as you will see by the photos, my little brother is basically a model, and with the amazing locations, it was hard to choose just a few favorites. Enjoy!

Adela + Andrew's Madison Engagement Session | Madison Wedding Photographer

This engagement session was absolutely perfect in every way. Perfect couple, perfect day, perfect locations. We started out at The Old Fashioned on the square where Andrew proposed. The staff was so great and let take a few photos upstairs where we had the whole room to ourselves. Then we headed over to the Capitol, and finally to a little beach area along Lake Mendota. This is a pretty long post for an engagement session, but I seriously had too many favorites to make it a short one!

I'm totally in love with how these photos turned out and am so excited for what is to be an amazing wedding next year.
