Julie and Travis

Last month I had the pleasure of capturing Julie and Travis' special day. We started out getting ready in The James Hotel, where Trisha from Starship Salon worked her magic on Julie's hair and makeup. From there we headed to the lake for some photos near the harbor, and then to Humboldt Park before heading to the venue. Their ceremony and reception were both held at Kitchen Chicago, which is just an awesome space. (If you saw Jen and Steve's wedding from the last post, you'll see I've been lucky enough to shoot here twice in one month!) It's just so pretty. At their reception, Julie and Travis had the genius idea of having board games for all of their guests to play at the end of the night... there were a few pretty intense games of Jenga.

The day was laid back and full of laughter and love. I had the wonderful Hadassah Bullis second shooting with me throughout the day, always making my job feel effortless. I hope you all enjoy the photos!

Jen and Steve: Kitchen Chicago

Jen and Steve were so easy and fun to work with! Their big day was just as lovely and laid back as they were. I had a great time capturing every moment. Their details were beautiful and simple, and the event was intimate with just their closest friends and relatives. The ceremony and reception were held in Kitchen Chicago's gorgeous space and was catered by Pure Kitchen Catering.
